NestJS

Express gives you flexibility, but that flexibility means every team ends up inventing its own conventions for structuring modules, injecting dependencies, and organizing large codebases — and those conventions rarely agree. NestJS solves this by bringing an opinionated, Angular-inspired architecture to Node.js: modules, dependency injection, and decorators that impose real structure, so a codebase built by ten different developers still looks like one codebase.

This course teaches you how to build NestJS applications the way they're actually structured in production — controllers, providers, and modules working together through dependency injection, not a pile of loosely related files. You'll go from your first controller to guards, interceptors, pipes, and database integration with TypeORM, and see how Nest's architecture pays off once an application grows past a handful of endpoints.

Every module ends with a hands-on project. You'll build a REST API using Nest's core building blocks, add authentication and authorization with guards, and ship a production service with TypeORM and proper module boundaries that you'll actually deploy. By the end of the course, you'll be able to structure a real Nest application, use dependency injection correctly, and know when Nest's structure is earning its keep versus adding ceremony.
